Angelo Gigliola (founding partner) is a lawyer admitted to practice before the Higher Courts, initiating his career in 2001 working as an intern for Prof. Avv. Giuseppe Guarino. He deals with Administrative and EU Law and also practices in the areas of Civil Law directly related to the aforementioned matters (obligations and contracts, with particular attention to procurement contracts and their execution, contractual and extra-contractual liability). He is an expert with recognised expertise in Energy Law, especially as regards renewable energy, energy systems and infrastructures and related environmental issues. He also deals with Environmental Law, public and private procurement and concession relationships, as well as project financing and public-private partnership procedures. He has also gained professional expertise in European Union law, practicing before the European Courts and dealing, as well, with structural funds. He has also gained qualified experience in public gaming, real estate, urban planning law and expropriation procedures, and in liability accounting judgments, as well as, for administrative law aspects, in criminal proceedings. He has to his credit countless extrajudicial and para-judicial assignments and very extensive litigation before administrative, community, and civil justice bodies. He serves as chairman in Technical Advisory Boards and is an independent director of BNP Paribas, Real Estate SGR and was an independent director of Redo SGR, a company active in social housing. He has served as a member and secretary in several arbitration panels on public contracts. He has been a member of the Ministry of Infrastructure’s Commission (South Central and Islands Constituency) for awarding tenders issued by highway concession companies, conducting more than 100 tenders. He served as a consultant to the Special Office for the Reconstruction of the City of L’Aquila, assisting on procedures for awarding grants for private reconstruction. He has served as legal adviser to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. He is the author of several publications and gives several talks and lectures in his areas of expertise. He graduated with honors from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan.
