Danieli & C. Officine Meccaniche S.p.A. obtained the confirmation of the judgment of the Puglia – Lecce Regional Administrative Tribunal (TAR) No. 472/2024, by the Council of State, with consequent affirmation of the illegitimacy of the award and the entire procedure by which DRI D’Italia S.p.A. had awarded the contract for the construction of the direct reduction plant of 2 million tons per year, to be built in the area of Taranto (former Ilva); a procedure which, the Council of State affirms, will have to be carried out again in accordance with the regulations of the Public Contracts Code.
